Great on my boat
Lightweight, easy-to-carry mini-bottle. Great for my boat!!
The hybrid mask is great.
Already used and always satisfied. Perfect for snorkeling and short dives from the surface to explore or follow a fish. The automatic switch from the OXAIR mask’s snorkel to the tank’s air is amazing.
Works perfectly
I tested it in our pool, and it works. I filled it with my compressor. You need to get used to the breathing, but it’s a quick learning curve. Runtime is 5 to 8 minutes, depending on the person. Can’t wait to try it in Hawaii next month.
Good experience
My second mini tank. The first one was defective: a permanent leak, and it ended up on a shelf. The OXSEA one is the complete opposite: six uses in a few months, no leaks, no issues. I fill it with my compressor and get about 8 minutes. I couldn’t be more satisfied. I would buy again.

You can recharge it in three ways:
- With the manual pump (for OX500 cylinders only)
- With the OXSEA 12V mini compressor
- Using a refilling station to transfer air from a standard diving cylinder to the OXSEA mini cylinder
How long does it take to recharge an OXSEA cylinder?
Average recharge times:
Manual pump:
OX500 → approximately 15 minutes
OX1000 → approximately 30 minutes (not recommended)
Yoke or DIN filling station:
Filling time → approximately 1 minute
12V Mini-compressor:
OX500 → approximately 12 minutes
OX1000 → approximately 20 minutes
Can I travel by plane with an OXSEA mini-cylinder?
Yes, it is possible to travel by plane with an OXSEA cylinder, provided certain safety rules are followed:
Before the flight:
The cylinder must be completely empty.
The valve (regulator) must be open or disconnected from the tank.
It is mandatory to declare the cylinder during check-in or boarding.
Please note:
Some airlines require the valve to be completely disassembled. The operation is simple: just unscrew the upper part of the tank by hand.
Tip:
Before traveling, always check your airline’s policy, as requirements may vary from one carrier to another.
